JO1’s ANIMAL is a bold new chapter in experimental hip-hop, and the fourth track, THIS DAT FYAH, delivers a hypnotic, genre-defying experience. Featuring an all-star lineup including Alexis Boyd, Carmen Reece, Hadar, and more, this high-energy cut showcases JO1’s signature production prowess alongside the distinct voices of his collaborators. The track’s raw energy and layered beats make it a standout on the album, with Dem Jointz handling production duties—adding another layer of credibility to the mix.

From the moment the bassline kicks in, THIS DAT FYAH pulls listeners into a world where rhythm and melody collide. The featured artists bring their own flair, whether through Alexis Boyd’s dynamic flow or Hadar’s infectious energy, while Mayu Wakisaka and REN add global influences that keep the track fresh. The production is tight, with each artist’s contribution seamlessly woven into the track’s driving force.

ANIMAL, set to drop in 2026, is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated albums of the year, and THIS DAT FYAH is a perfect example of why. With its infectious groove and star-studded lineup, this track is a must-listen for fans of bold, boundary-pushing hip-hop.
