Behind the mic, Ervin Garcia, Bongo ByTheWay, and Johan Lenox weave a sound that balances grit with vulnerability, shaping a track that feels both intimate and commanding. The ninth chapter of this deeply personal album, "braveface" channels a fierce emotional honesty, where every lyric and beat serves as a testament to resilience and self-awareness.

The production on "braveface" is a study in contrasts, deep, pulsating basslines meet delicate, textured melodies, creating a sonic landscape that mirrors the song’s duality. Garcia’s signature rhythmic punch grounds the track, while Bongo ByTheWay and Johan Lenox infuse it with a lyrical fluidity that makes the delivery feel effortless yet deliberate. Together, they craft a sound that doesn’t just tell a story but immerses the listener in it, making the raw emotion of the lyrics feel even more palpable.

What sets "braveface" apart is its ability to blend introspection with a defiant energy, a quality that makes it a standout on love?... or something like it (Deluxe). The track doesn’t shy away from the complexities of love and self-doubt, instead turning them into something powerful and unapologetic. For fans of Halle’s work, this is a moment where her artistry shines brightest, where vulnerability meets strength, and every note feels like a step forward. Production was handled by Ervin Garcia.
